D20 RP — Bot Edition v3.0.9

Exclusively for LifeBots bots in Second Life. Compatible with player HUD and installer v3.0.7.

FEATURES • Alternating attack turns: player, bot, player. Each new attack uses two independent D20 dice. • The player writes defence replies using the announced scores; replies do not roll again. The following emote belongs to the bot and reacts to the player’s latest gestures and words. Exact repeated emotes from the same combat are rejected. • Individual bot attempts use one D20. Dice results are calculated by the script, never by AI. • Optional AI narration with explicit attacker/defender roles and the latest 20 exchanges of the same combat. • Private HUD history keeps the latest 20 exchanges per player, including actions, replies and emotes. • Private action entry: 240 bytes maximum, 20-minute input window. No avatar movement is controlled. • Configurable RP character, personality, knowledge, protected people, groups and threat hints. The owner chooses the Workshop Bot.AI model. • Optional threat detection and consent-based HUD offers. Ordinary chat is filtered locally before AI analysis. • English, French and Spanish player HUD. Existing HUD v3.0.7 scripts remain compatible.

REQUIREMENTS & SETUP An active LifeBots bot and the MoonPleasant installer are required. LifeBots hosting and AI credits are separate. Enable aiEnabled for AI narration and automatic bot attempts; enable combatContinuation for alternating turns. Enable autoInvitations for threat detection, hudDeliveryEnabled for delivery and hudAutoOffer for automatic HUD offers. Configure the HUD folder, save these settings and start the script. Checkboxes must be enabled explicitly when setting up a purchased copy.

HUD DELIVERY — CURRENT INVENTORY LIMITATION For HUD delivery, enter hudFolderUuid: the UUID of the BOT inventory folder containing the copyable and transferable D20 RP HUD. Each bot has its own folder UUID. Do not enter the avatar, object or HUD asset UUID. The tested Workshop API returns Missing folderId when the folder is omitted, despite the documented root lookup. Installation without a folder UUID is therefore not currently guaranteed. Full bots may use their web inventory manager; Lite bots may need a manual viewer login to retrieve the folder identifier. AI attempts and reactions allow up to 1200 output tokens; this is a response ceiling, not a fixed charge or a memory limit.

FR — Activer aiEnabled et combatContinuation pour les tours automatiques du bot. Combats avec attaques alternées joueur/bot, consentement aux dés, réponses de défense sans nouveau jet, jets individuels, narration IA facultative et historique des vingt derniers échanges. HUD FR/EN/ES. Pour distribuer le HUD, renseigner l’UUID du dossier de l’inventaire DU BOT : l’accès sans dossier échoue actuellement avec Missing folderId.
