How to Set Up Your LifeBots Bot

Before You Begin

A LifeBots bot is a Second Life account that is logged in and controlled as a scripted agent. Before setting up your bot, make sure you understand the following:

  • You must create a separate Second Life account for your bot (do not use your main avatar)
  • The account must be set as a scripted agent under Second Life’s rules See related article
  • You will use the bot account’s Second Life username and password during setup

Step-by-Step Setup

Setting up your LifeBots bot is quick and straightforward. Follow the steps below:

  • Create a LifeBots account if you don’t already have one. Create one here.
  • Log in to your LifeBots account.
  • Go to the Dashboard.
  • If this is your first bot, click Add your first Bot Now!. Otherwise, click the Add Bot button.
  • Enter the Second Life username and password of the bot account (the same credentials used in the SL viewer).
  • Select the Bot Type (Full Bot or Lite Bot). See related article
  • Confirm and add the bot.
  • Complete the payment for the bot.

After Setup

  • Your bot will log in as a scripted agent
  • You can control it via the Dashboard or the LifeBots HUD
  • You may enable AI & addons features at any time

Done 🎉 Your bot is now ready!

If the bot does not log in immediately, allow a few moments or restart the bot from the dashboard.
